My name is Andreas Sommer, and I'm a software engineer who turned into a hobby scientist and health engineer in private life. Combining software and health interests drives most of my side projects.

I'm the author of staty, a free-forever tool for N=1 science helping people to solve individual health problems with a spreadsheet and statistics.

What's a "health engineer"? My interest in health is to solve the major issues, and to share data-backed insights or possible solutions to contribute to open science. I believe with the help of software, we can do this best. Or rather call me just "a patient healing himself".
