Welcome!

My name is Andreas Sommer, and I'm a software engineer who turned into a hobby scientist and health engineer in private life. Combining software and health interests drives some of my side projects.

In the software industry, I'm active in the Kubernetes ecosystem and also interested in game programming (time to make an indie game would be great…).

And what's a "health engineer"? I invented this term because "biohacker" nowadays already stands for people trying to optimize their health with a myriad of supplement stacks, and that's not what I do. My interest in health is to solve the major issues, and to share data-backed insights or possible solutions to contribute to open science. You could also call it "a patient healing himself".
